The Reserve Center repair project included architectural and mechanical upgrades to the reserve center. Prior to beginning work, a minor amount of asbestos abatement was performed which included old caulk on the exterior of the building. Exterior improvements involved replacement of glass masonry, a new glazed brick facade, re-caulk of all existing joints, replacement of aluminum panel systems, and new paint on all exterior metal surfaces.

On the interior of the facility, window closure walls with new Corian sills were installed. A new roof was added on the South Stair Tower with a stainless steel scupper/downspout system. Old precast stair treads were replaced with steel treads. Old overhead service doors were removed at the Motor Garage and replaced with new ones.

Inside the Motor Garage, a hose reel exhaust system was installed to provide ventilation in the workspace. Finally, the structural posts of the front canopy system were replaced with new steel posts.
